Looking absolutely radiant for you’re wedding day is every Bride’s goal. There’s so much time and preparation put in to choosing a dress, accessories, and how your hair will look. Why not take one extra step to ensure your face is glowing for every snap of the camera. Choosing the right foundation is the first step towards a flawless face. Many foundations can give you a great finish and coverage, but once you see them in a picture you’re shocked to see a you look like you have a “ghost face”. This can occur for a few reasons. Not only is choosing the correct shade key, but steering clear of a foundation with an SPF is another trick. If a foundation contains high titanium dioxide which is a physical sunscreen and makeup ingredient. It can interfere with the flash, causing your skin to look pasty. The titanium dioxide in SPF reflects light making you look lighter, washes out your features.

Some great foundations that will give you an even-toned and glowing finish can be found in a Sephora or higher-end department store. Certain brands that dedicate a majority of their development and success to the runway and makeup artists worldwide are the best ones to chose I’ve found. Smashbox, MAC and Estee Lauder are a few of my top choices. Smashbox and MAC were developed by photographers and makeup artists that felt the industry lacked products that could withstand the high expectations for their industry. Estee Lauder was started by a tenacious woman and has been a trusted leader in the cosmetic industry ever since.
My top picks for photo-friendly foundations are:

1. MAC Face and Body foundation (MAC store only)                http://www.maccosmetics.com/

2. Smashbox High Definition Healthy FX foundation              http://www.smashbox.com/

3. Estee Lauder Resilience Lift                                                         http://www.esteelauder.com/

4. Estee Lauder Nutritious (a mineral formula in liquid and powder)
