Inspiration-Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.
So my question is where do you find your inspiration? There is something for everyone it’s the color of the leaves that change, the curve of a cheekbone, the words of a great speaker, that ride on your bike. Where is it, where might you find it.
I was ending a class at Bumble and Bumble university that was yet again career changing. I was handed an Italian Vogue with my diploma. Duh, of course I was not reading it. It was meant for the Editorial pictures and for us to find our inspiration and looks. I treated it like it was gold and didn’t want it even touched. I looked through the magazine on my way home on the airplane to my amazement I saw the colors I had just learned in class. But there was more, more ideas…more inspiration. What a brilliant idea and why hadn’t I thought of it.
I have my handy Iphone with me always and I take pictures of everything…computer screens, magazines at the books store, adds in stores, other peoples pictures, other people. All for inspiration because we all know that our mind needs to feed on visual things, that is what inspiration is that stimulation that sparks that igniting flame. So what feeds your flame??
We were at the MAC counter and this was a pic from their "look book" we then tried to recreate...one of my fav looks in our book.

I had fallen in love with Dorothy Lamour when I saw her in My Favorite Brunette. I took pics on my phone to save for my memory bank.
The bike it can inspire you...it allows you to think and strive for more. This is one of my inspirations.
These are simple flowers but it's the texture, the colors that pops and the depth at which it lays. Look around see what inspires you.
We love this wall and the alley. In fact we did a photo shoot here. How could this not inspire you??? The color, the texture, the so many messages others have left behind.
