What a perfect example of how bangs (fringe) can be a great addition to your look. A great way to softening and up do is by adding a few curls around your face. Our bride has adorned her messy bun with a veil and headband, double bonus!
We would like to thank Kat Foley Photography for sharing her images.
Happy inspiration!

It’s our first wedding of the year and we just received lovely pictures from our bride. A little inspiration for those who love the half up style. Her style simple hair pins with a soft side sweep. Enjoy!

Smokey eyes with a slight winged liner. Soft curls that would hold in the heat and adorned with a beautiful headband that was spectacular. We are very proud of this beautiful bride.
We thank you for stopping by and we hope you are inspired.

I love our bride simply because everything flowed perfectly with her complete look. Plus, who doesn’t love a beautiful red head.
We can’t forget the MOB, who has a perfectly polished look and bridesmaids a little eye candy for yourselves.
A BIG thank you to Wendy Martin Photography for letting us her photographs!

Winter weddings are so dreamy.
Here we go curly ladies, this one’s for you. My bride wanted to keep her curls in tact, but also enhance them. Her up do was loose, soft and swept back into a curly bun. It was meant to hold her veil perfectly. She was double adorned, so when she removed her veil later she was left with a sparkle.
Her make-up soft cheeks and the perfect pink lip. Eyes that popped her blue with a rim of liner.

When seeing the final product of our classically modern bride and all of her perfectly placed plans fall into place, it was stunning. Her hair & make-up could not have been more perfect for her.

As the hairstylist she came to me with two different hairstyle looks that she wanted to combine into one. My most favorite part about this was they were both from The Bliss Book. In the front a swooped bang making room for her birdcage headband. In the back the style working over to one side with soft looping curls and in the open spaces placing special pearls from an old necklace.

Her make-up is a modern take on a classic old Hollywood look. By taking the lip and making it a little more bride friendly. The lip is bold but not a traditional red, more of an earthy deep mauve. The eye is a softer smoldering lid using steel grey & a warm champagne. Glamming it up with false lashes creating a bolder look.
Happy inspiration to you!

Everyone has been talking about BHLDN and I had to take a peak and see what all the fuss was about. First I must say their shoes drew me there. Then I became more curious and wandered to their hair adornments and voila a whole other world of pretty hair bobbles.
I picked the vine hairpins because they can be used so many ways in your hairstyle. Alternating them on each side or wear them on the same side. Whatever you do they will adorn your style perfectly.

Hair trends are constantly shifting; traveling to the past but always pushing forward to a future dream. Once again I am excited to see this season headed in a upward motion with classic up-dos, yet keeping it playful with some fun new styles.
The ponytail: Don’t mistake it just as an easy way to wear your hair or for working out. It’s sassy, fun and can be paired with any dress to make your look for an event stunning. There’s the structured strong pony with fullness, or the curly pony for a little sassy flair. For those of you who don’t want a sleek or tight ponytail, leave texture and looseness for a more relaxed, easygoing look.
It’s a fun appearance that will stay without fail the whole night. It can also be your second look after a wedding ceremony for the reception.
Classic will never grow old. The french twist and the bun are always fashionable in my book. They can be changed for every person depending on their face structure. Add a swept bang to the front for softness or take it away from the face and sweep it straight back to give drama. Give blunt bangs to change the whole look altogether with a new focus.
The down style is never forgotten. Soft waves that replicate those from the 1940‘s is a look that has grown in popularity on the red carpet. Big curls that are full of bounce and movement are romantic and classic. Both of these looks can be pulled back loosely to create a space for a hair adornment or veil.
Happy hair inspiration to you! I hope your bridal runway is as beautiful as your dream.
