blowdryer

The request of your stylist that makes you cringe…Please come to you appointment with dirty hair and Please do not wash your hair.

Why, you ask?  Clean hair does not hold as well as second day hair or as stylist we love third and fourth day hair.  It often is to slippery and soft to work with.  Sometimes freshly washed & dried hair will have moisture left in it and that will allow the hair to frizz.  So what is the best way you ask?   To prepare your hair prior to you’re wedding day hairstyle to give you the best results.

The day before your wedding is usually full of things to do and usually it involves a rehearsal dinner that you should look remarkable for.  Your festivities are beginning,  so your beauty regimen should to.  Make a stop at your beauty salon and have yourself a fabulous blow dry.  Your day before hair is just as important as your day of hair.  What goes in your hair, meaning the product, is the foundation to your wedding day style. Your stylist will achieve a volume filled blow dry without the fuzz that should look great the next day.  It will be the perfect canvas to begin the magic.

Here are some Don’ts:

*Do not pull your hair back after your  fabulous blow dry.

*Do not wear something that will need to be pulled over your head.

*Do not wash your hair the morning of your Up do.

*Do not come to an up do apt with your hair wet!!!

Here are some Do’s:

*When you shower the morning of your up do try and keep your hair in a shower cap, the bathroom fan on  and the door open.  (moisture is unfriendly to the hair)

*Always consult your stylist on how she would prefer your hair the day of.

*Do give yourself a blow dry the night before if you must with volume filled products. (If you can’t get to the salon)

What is your up do question?
